S2 E18: The Twilight Zone Bar & Lounge
Hollywood, 1940. The Hollywood Tower Hotel is reopening after a year-long closure following the tragic events of 1939—you know, the one where an elevator cab carrying five people was struck by lightning and never seen again? After taking the year off to “renovate,” the hotel is opening back up with its newest, exclusive lounge—The Twilight Zone. Management decided they needed a flashy hangout to attract back the Hollywood elite.
However, something is not quite right with this place. While the rest of the Hollywood Tower Hotel looks abandoned and desolate, The Twilight Zone is bright and lively—always buzzing with staff and patrons. It’s been this way since opening. While the rest of the hotel would eventually close and fade away, The Twilight Zone always stayed booked and busy, to the amazement of everyone since, you see, The Hollywood Tower Hotel never actually reopened…
